Race report by Damien Zarb
This weekend the Australian New South Wales state titles was scheduled. Leading up to the weekend the weather forecast looked very bad. We managed to get limited practice in on Friday. I tested with both ARS and standard car, deciding on the standard car for the forecasted weather conditions.

Saturday racing was rained out. The wet weather continued into Sunday with racing not getting under way till lunch time. Due to this qualifying was cut down to 4 rounds and we would run no finals, the event would be decided on the qualifying results. Given this situation and the conditions this made it very challenging and no opportunity to get things wrong. Once racing started, I quickly realized my XRAY T4 and setup were well suited to the conditions and just minor adjustments, this would keep me ahead of the pack , Winning 3 out of the 4 qualifiers and able to finish 5 secs in front in the final qualifier, I secure TQ and due to the conditions the overall victory.
